Role overview
We are looking to recruit a full time/part time role to join our friendly and hard-working reception team. You need to have good communication skills, be able to work on your own initiative and also work well within a team.
Providing a professional, efficient and effective reception service to both patients and health professionals alike. Key responsibilities: Make, amend and cancel clinical appointments for patients using the SystmOne clinical system.
Care-navigate patients to the most appropriate health professional/service when booking appointments. Deal with and record accurate messages from clinicians and patients.
Previous Receptionist Experience within General Practice would be an advantage but not essential as full in-house training will be given. Applicants should have good IT skills, excellent customer service skills, be professional at all times with a commitment to their responsibilities within the role, be able to work well under pressure.
Job Summary The purpose of the role is to Offer general assistance to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
Undertake a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the Practice including the provision of clerical support to clinical staff and other members of the Practice team. Facilitate effective communication between patients, members of the primary health care team, secondary care and other associated healthcare agencies.
