Ontap Job Search provides curated listings of employment opportunities from publicly available sources and partner job feeds. We do not require users to create accounts or submit personal data in order to browse job listings on this site.

When you click an "Apply" button you will be redirected to the original job provider or employer website. Any personal information submitted during an application is handled by that external site according to their own privacy policies.

Ontap may collect limited anonymous usage data such as page visits, referral sources and outbound clicks in order to understand how the service is used and to improve the relevance of job listings.

Ontap also stores anonymous first-seen and last-seen timestamps in your browser. These contain no name, contact details or location and are used only to distinguish a returning browser from a first visit and to separate human interaction from obvious automated traffic. Clearing your browser data removes these timestamps.

Saved location personalisation

If you choose “Use my location”, your browser will ask for permission to provide your device location. Ontap uses the coordinates only to identify the nearest approved town and find current jobs within 15 straight-line miles. The coordinates are not saved by Ontap or included in analytics.

Only the matched town and region are saved in local storage on your device so nearby jobs can be shown when you return. You can change or clear the saved location from the location panel at any time. Clearing your browser data will also remove it. If location permission is declined, you can enter a town manually instead.
