Sales Coordinator About the Company

Our client is a successful and growing business based in Stevenage, supplying products and solutions to customers across the UK and internationally.

They are looking to recruit a proactive and commercially minded Sales Coordinator to join their established customer-facing team. This is a varied role combining account management, customer service, sales and order administration, with responsibility for managing a portfolio of B2 B customers and developing strong, long-term relationships.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of customer accounts, identify opportunities to increase revenue and play an important role in delivering an excellent customer experience.

Sales Coordinator Details

Monday to Friday, full-time
Based in Stevenage
Salary £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Sales Coordinator Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of B2 B customer accounts and act as their main point of contact
Build strong relationships with customers to support retention and account growth
Conduct regular customer contact to understand needs, challenges and opportunities
Identify and action upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Proactively contact customers to generate orders and maintain engagement
Re-engage inactive, dormant or declining accounts
Promote new products, offers and campaigns to existing customers
Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements and opportunities
Process customer orders accurately using Sage 200
Handle customer enquiries, requests and complaints professionally and promptly
Maintain accurate customer records, account information and order notes
Provide customer aftercare and follow up on feedback
Work closely with internal teams to resolve customer issues and maintain service levels
Share customer feedback, insight and commercial opportunities with the wider business

Sales Coordinator What We're Looking For

Previous experience in customer service, account management or a similar customer-facing role
Confident communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships
Commercial mindset with the ability to identify sales and account development opportunities
Proactive approach with confidence to pick up the phone and engage customers
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and competing priorities
Experience working in a B2 B environment
Experience using Sage 200 or a similar order processing system
Positive, professional and customer-focused approach
Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and work collaboratively

Desirable:

Experience working towards sales, revenue, retention or customer engagement targets
Experience supporting product launches, promotions or customer campaigns
