We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You'll be working 42 hours a week (Days Only 08:00am - 20:00pm), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at The Fields.
The Fields is a specialist residential service in Sheffield, South Yorkshire for adults with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge as well as associated complex needs.
We encourage and enable the individuals we support to lead a full and happy life. We work with them to ensure they have more choice and control in their lives. We find out their strengths, abilities and preferences so that the care provided can be as person-centred and meaningful to each individual as possible.
Your Day-to-Day
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals' specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required

We are looking for a confident Support Workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You'll be working 42 hours a week (Days 07:30am - 19:45pm, Nights 19:30pm - 07:45am including alternative weekends), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at The Daley Care Centre.
Experience in complex care such as Stoma Care, Spinal Injuries, Tracheostomy care, Suctioning, Catheter Care and Enteral Feeding is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The Daley Care Centre is a specialist Neurological Complex Care service in Sheffield, dedicated to supporting individuals with high nursing needs, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and complex neurological conditions.
Our dedicated team of registered nurses, support workers, and in-house therapists work together to deliver comprehensive care and support with measurable outcomes.
The Daley Care Centre is located in the beautiful, tranquil countryside setting of Deepcar just 10 minutes outside of Sheffield city centre. It provides a warm, homely setting with all of the on-site equipment and facilities needed to offer complex medical care to individuals with a wide range of conditions.

Job Summary
We are looking for committed, resilient, and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our secure accommodation team in Sheffield. You will work with young people who are either vulnerable, on remand, or serving custodial sentences. This is a meaningful role where you can make a real difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, child-centred care in a secure environment
- Establish positive relationships with young people and provide 1:1 and group support
- Contribute to individual care planning and safeguarding measures
- Participate in educational, leisure, and behavioural development activities
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
- Work as part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team on a 24-hour shift rota
Qualifications
A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete within 2 years) Experience in one or more of the following:
- Residential childcare
- Youth justice
- Special education
- Supporting vulnerable children or adults
Skills & Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Emotional resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding
- Successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check
