Are you an experienced admin individual seeking a role in mental health? We are looking to recruit a new Team Administrator to provide a highly valued service to the Adult Mental Health Team.
The AMHT team is dedicated to supporting Doctors and other medical staff who provide support to Adults of working age experiencing Mental Health issues. This role can be demanding, challenging and requires skill to handle all contacts with confidence, compassion, patience and professionalism.
We rely upon robust administrative support to run a safe, excellent, and caring service to our patients. We are looking for someone who has an excellent standard of administrative and IT skills, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities within a challenging and demanding environment.
This is a varied role and you will play a vital role within the team, being first point of contact for our patients and providing administrative support for the clinicians across the team. You key responsibilities will include: Process and resolve face-to-face enquiries and telephone calls/emails from patients, relatives, staff, and other professionals, promptly and sensitively making autonomous decisions to signpost to appropriate clinician or alternative service, ensuring messages are dealt with or passed on quickly and efficiently.
Work closely with team members, providing a flexible service and being willing to assist staff with a variety of development work as and when required. Please see attached JD/PS for full duties.
