Join our dedicated Adult Community Mental Health Team and make a real difference every day. We are seeking an exceptional Administrator to lead our administrative service, ensuring patients, clinicians and managers receive the high-quality support they need.
This is a varied, rewarding and influential role within a friendly and supportive team. Based in Newton Abbot, the 30-hour post can be worked across either 4 or 5 days.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop the administrative service for our busy Adult Community Mental Health Team based at Estuary House. Our Business Administrator plays a key role in supporting patients, clinicians and managers, helping to ensure the delivery of a responsive, high-quality service alongside keen and engaged colleagues.
You will lead a dedicated team of administrators in a positive and supportive environment where staff feel valued, motivated and empowered to succeed. Responsibilities include line management, recruitment, staff development and maintaining high standards of performance and service delivery.
Working closely with the Clinical Team Manager, you will help drive continuous improvement by developing and refining systems and processes that enable clinicians to work efficiently and maximise the time they spend supporting patients. You will promote effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving across the team.
The role includes minuting meetings, maintaining staffing and patient systems, ensuring compliance with Trust standards and fostering a culture of teamwork and engagement. We are looking for a proactive and organised leader with excellent IT skills, strong attention to detail and outstanding organisational abilities.
