Role overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Achieve Teams, Addiction Services for an Administrator. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced administrator who enjoys working as part of a team and can demonstrate a commitment to delivering a high quality administration support in an efficient and timely manner.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, IT competency in Word, Excel and Outlook and a broad range of administrative experience. You will be part of a team of administrators providingadmin cover to our service users, clinicians and other health professionals.

If you have a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, this will be an excellent opportunity to develop your skills. The Team Administrator will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and confidential administrative support to Salford Achieve, The Orchard within the Addictions Service.

The post holder will provide an administrative function to the unit as outlined below: To act as an initial point of contact dealing with telephone enquiries from external agencies, service users or their relatives and other members of staff in a professional and sensitive manner, communicating messages where necessary without delay to the appropriate individual. To take responsibility for arranging appointments, recording essential information in a timely manner.

To input and maintain the Trust electronic record systems in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to Trust and network deadlines. Take responsibility for ensuring PARIS records are kept up to date.

Ensure all service user information is available to clinical staff as required. To be responsible for liaising with prison and probation services to ensure prescribing plans and other documents are uploaded for service user prescriptions when required.

Responsibility for inputting NDTMS data for the service. To order goods as requested by the multi-disciplinary team in line with the Trust Standing Financial Instructions and to manage a small amount of petty cash.
