Norfolk Primary Care is seeking a friendly, organised and compassionate Receptionist to join our Vulnerable Adult Service based at Under One Roof in Norwich. This is an exciting opportunity to become the first point of contact for patients, visitors and partner organisations, providing a professional and welcoming reception service while supporting the wider clinical and administrative team.

The successful candidate will be confident working in a busy environment, able to prioritise competing demands and committed to delivering excellent customer service to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. This role requires a full-time onsite presence due to the nature of the service and patient-facing responsibilities.

Answer telephone calls, respond to enquiries and direct calls appropriately. Register new patients and update patient records accurately.

Process clinical correspondence, electronic tasks and administrative requests. Support clinicians and support workers with administrative duties.

Liaise with prescription, scanning and clinical teams to resolve patient queries. Maintain accurate electronic patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.

Assist with clinic administration and the day-to-day running of reception. Comply with data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding requirements.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a high-quality service. Note: The responsibilities of this role will normally include all duties described in this job description and any additional or different duties, which the employer may require from time to time.
