Role overview

To act as a focal point of communication between the GPs, practice manager and other members of the Balance Street Practice. To ensure administrative and clerical duties within the practice are carried out within the practices guidelines and policies.

To support registrations administrator with the processing of all aspects of registration process. To ensure the day-to-day activities of the practice are carried out accordingly.

Opening post and scanning documents when required. Processing EDT and scanned documents to patient records using AI software and ensuring each document is sent on correct task pathway.

Supervision and management of admin team Accurx inbox and actions required and liaising with clinical staff and secretaries. Supervision and management of practice emails and actions required and liaising with clinical staff and secretaries Processing EMIS documents Sending texts and letters to patients that have DNAd hospital appointments- focusing on vulnerable adults and children to raise any potential safeguarding concerns.

Returning letters that patients aren't registered at the PracticeProcessing notifications of death and liaising with GPs to ensure they are dealt with efficiently and sensitively. Recording Patient respect forms.

Supporting registrations administrator by booking in received patient notes and checking newly registered patients records for digitised notes. Assisting with processing of all aspects of registrations.
