An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded law firm as an Administrative Assistant. This is an ideal role for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills who is looking to develop a career within a professional services environment. Working as part of a busy and supportive legal team, you will provide administrative and secretarial support to the legal Fee-Earners to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department. Key Responsibilities - Providing administrative support to the lawyers. - Preparing standard correspondence, emails and legal documents. - Typing letters, reports and other documentation. - Assisting with electronic invoicing, including preparing client invoices, debit notes and credit notes. - Managing files, scanning, photocopying and general document administration. - Preparing attendance notes, memos and meeting minutes. - Typing trip reports and other documentation as required. - Assisting with the docketing and processing of incoming correspondence. - Supporting the team with a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks. To be successful in this role you will have: - Previous administrative or secretarial experience. - Excellent typing and keyboard skills. - Outstanding written communication, spelling and grammar. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and meet deadlines. - Exceptional attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. - A proactive and flexible approach with a willingness to support colleagues. - Experience within intellectual property or trade marks would be advantageous but is not essential. - Experience using digital dictation or audio typing would also be beneficial.
