Job description
You will manage purchase ledger records for a Retail business, helping the Accounting & Finance team keep supplier information accurate and up to date. You will handle day-to-day invoice processing and account queries so payments can be prepared smoothly

Process supplier invoices accurately and match them to relevant purchase records.
Maintain clear and up-to-date purchase ledger accounts for suppliers.
Check invoice details and resolve any differences before records are updated.
Respond to supplier queries in a timely and helpful manner.
Keep invoice records organised so information is easy to find when needed.
Prepare purchase ledger information to support payment processing.
Reconcile supplier statements against ledger records and investigate discrepancies.
Work with colleagues in Accounting & Finance to maintain accurate financial data.
Profile
Experience processing supplier invoices and maintaining purchase ledger records.
Confidence matching invoices to purchase information and checking data accuracy.
Ability to reconcile supplier statements and investigate differences.
Experience responding to supplier queries clearly and professionally.
Good attention to detail when handling financial information.
Ability to organise records and manage routine tasks accurately.
