Administrator Location: Longton, Stoke-on-Trent Pay Rate: From 12.71 per hour (PAYE), depending on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join a busy and professional team based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with good administrative skills, strong communication abilities and a professional telephone manner.

The successful candidate will provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. This role would suit someone who is organised, reliable and confident carrying out a variety of office-based duties.

Key Responsibilities

Handling inbound and outbound telephone calls in a professional manner.
Responding to emails and dealing with general enquiries.
Preparing and processing invoices.
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
Filing, scanning and general data entry.
Providing administrative support to colleagues and other departments.
Organising and maintaining paperwork and documentation.
Assisting with general office duties as required.

Requirements

Previous administration or office experience is desirable.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A professional and friendly telephone manner.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A reliable, flexible and positive approach to work.
