Customer Service Assistant - £13.75 per hour
Nottingham (NG1), Immediate Start
A busy student accommodation site is looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Reception / Customer Service Assistant to provide a welcoming presence and excellent support for residents.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as the first point of contact for residents and visitors at the front desk
Handling enquiries professionally via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring smooth shift handovers
Assisting with resident queries, complaints, payments, and parcel deliveries
Preparing and maintaining communal areas while supporting resident events and activities
Responding appropriately to incidents and following all health and safety procedures
Logging and monitoring maintenance requests, alongside general administrative duties
About You
Previous experience in a busy customer service, reception, hospitality, hotel, or student accommodation environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident using Microsoft Office and other basic IT systems
Calm, approachable, organised, and dependable
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support wherever needed
