Receptionist

Location: Tunbridge Wells Pay Rate: 13.36 per hour Contract: Temporary Holiday Cover

We are currently recruiting for a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join a welcoming and busy clinic in Tunbridge Wells on a temporary basis to provide holiday cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing exceptional customer service and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. If you enjoy being the first point of contact for visitors, take pride in delivering a positive customer experience and have strong administrative skills, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As the face of the clinic, you will play a key role in ensuring clients receive a warm, professional welcome while supporting the day-to-day operations of the reception area. You will also provide administrative support to the wider team, helping to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently during a period of staff holiday absence.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Registering and onboarding new clients accurately
Delivering exceptional customer service to all visitors and clients
Handling incoming telephone calls and email enquiries
Booking and managing appointments
Maintaining a tidy, organised and welcoming reception area
Completing administrative tasks including data entry, filing and document management
Supporting colleagues with general administration duties
Ensuring a positive and professional experience for all visitors

About You

Previous experience in a receptionist, administration, customer service or front-of-house position
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office and various computer systems
Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively
Professional, reliable and team-focused approach
A passion for delivering excellent customer service
Must be willing to undergo a DBS check or already hold a valid DBS certificate
