Job description

Customer Service Coordinator

Location: Hamworthy/Poole Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm

We are looking for a friendly and organised person to join our office team in a customer service role. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants a steady, office-based position. This is a permanent office based role within a well-established and successful business.

What you ll be doing:

Speaking with customers by phone and email
Helping prepare quotes and process orders
Keeping track of customer requests and following up where needed
Supporting the wider customer service team with day-to-day tasks
Keeping records accurate and up to date
This is a customer service and co-ordination role no cold calling or direct sales.

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Comfortable speaking to people and providing good customer service
Basic computer skills and attention to detail
Able to work well as part of a team
No specialist product knowledge is required full training will be provided.

Whilst previous office or customer service experience is helpful it is not essential we welcome applications from people looking to develop their skills or move into an office-based role.

Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5pm, 37.5 hours/week

Holiday: 20 days holiday, rising at 1 day per year to a max 25 days after 5 years continuous service (PLUS bank holidays). You also get your birthday day off as holiday (subject to conditions).

Existing Qualifications (Edu/Certs/Driving): GCSE or equivalent.

As this is a salaried, permanent non-sales role, we pay a competitive salary, but no commission if you are looking for a commission-based sales role, this is not the role for you.
