Sales Operations Coordinator

Location: Sittingbourne Salary: 27,000 Contract: Permanent Hours: Full-Time, Office Based

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Sales Operations Coordinator to join a growing commercial business within the Chemical Industry based in Sittingbourne.

Working within a busy and fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in supporting customer accounts, coordinating orders, maintaining accurate data and ensuring products and services are delivered efficiently. This is a varied position that would suit someone who enjoys administration, customer interaction and working closely with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day administrative support to the commercial and account management teams.
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently through internal systems.
Coordinate customer requests and ensure information is communicated effectively across departments.
Support the introduction of new products and help ensure projects are delivered within agreed timescales.
Maintain accurate customer, product and pricing information.
Monitor stock availability and work closely with internal teams to support customer demand.
Coordinate product samples and ensure they are tracked through relevant internal processes.
Assist with meeting preparation, travel arrangements and general team administration.
Respond to customer enquiries and provide excellent support throughout the customer journey.

About You

Previous experience within administration, sales support, customer service or account coordination.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Confident using Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable working with data, systems and administrative processes.
A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to learn.
Ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
