Events Coordinator 6 Week FTC

Salary: £31,800 (pro-rated for the 6 weeks)

Hours: Full time

Location: Thame Hybrid, 4 days working from home and 1 day office based per week

Contract: 6 week FTC

We re looking for an organised and proactive Events Coordinator to join a busy events team for six weeks, providing essential administrative and coordination support for an upcoming conference. This is a hands-on, admin-focused role where you ll help keep preparations on track and ensure everything is in place for a successful event. Whilst the role is mainly remote with 1 day per week in the office you will need to ideally be available for the day of the conference also.

Ideally you will have previous experience supporting events, conferences or similar projects and be someone who enjoys getting into the detail. You ll be highly organised, accurate and confident managing multiple tasks and deadlines at once. Strong communication skills are important, as you ll be liaising with colleagues, speakers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

What you ll do

provide day-to-day administrative support for the upcoming conference,
help to manage event timelines, actions, documentation and deadlines.
Coordinate with speakers, venues, suppliers and sponsors
Gather event materials and information
Support delegate and speaker arrangements, and work with internal teams on event communications and content.
Help with event delivery and post-event administration, including feedback, attendance information and reporting.
Daily work using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
