Experienced Repairs Coordinator Required

Our client is seeking an experienced Repairs Coordinator to join their established team based in Rayleigh. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in repairs scheduling or property maintenance coordination who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have previous experience coordinating reactive maintenance works, liaising with operatives and contractors, and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently while meeting service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule reactive repairs and maintenance works.
Allocate jobs to operatives and subcontractors based on location, availability and skill set.
Act as the main point of contact for residents, clients and engineers, providing regular updates on repair progress.
Manage diaries and ensure appointments are planned effectively to maximise productivity.
Monitor outstanding repairs, chasing progress and ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales.
Prioritise emergency and urgent repairs while balancing planned workloads.
Update internal systems with accurate information and maintain detailed records.
Work closely with operational teams to resolve scheduling issues and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Ensure all works are completed in line with company procedures and client KPIs.

About You

Previous experience as a Repairs Coordinator, Repairs Scheduler, Planner or Maintenance Administrator.
Experience within social housing, property maintenance, facilities management or construction is highly desirable.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with customers, operatives and clients.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Competent using Microsoft Office and repairs scheduling systems such as DRS, Northgate, Dynamics, or similar.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.

What's on Offer

32,000 - 35,000 depending on experience.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
