Financial Administrator

Location: Kingsley, Hampshire

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000, dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time, office-based

An established independent financial adviser firm based in Kingsley is looking for a Financial Administrator to join its friendly and supportive team.

This is a great opportunity for a capable Financial Administrator with previous experience or a competent Administrator with proven skills, ideally in in financial services, wealth management, or an IFA environment. The role would suit someone who is highly organised, accurate, confident dealing with financial administration, and comfortable working in a professional office-based setting.

The Role

As a Financial Administrator, you will be involved in a varied and fast-paced role, supporting financial advisers with client administration, new business processing and ongoing case management. The successful candidate will be organised, accurate, confident dealing with providers and clients, and comfortable working as part of a close-knit office-based team.

Key Responsibilities

Providing administrative support to financial advisers
Processing new business applications across pensions, investments, mortgages and protection products
Managing client records and maintaining accurate documentation
Using Intelligent Office, IO, to update workflows and client data
Liaising with providers including Fidelity, Aviva and Quilter
Processing contributions, withdrawals and fee calculations
Preparing client review packs and documentation
Supporting fund switches, rebalancing and risk profiling administration
Monitoring and progressing cases through to completion
Handling client and provider queries professionally and efficiently
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and FCA requirements
Supporting the wider administration team where required

Skills and Experience Required

Strong organisational and administrative skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confident written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively within a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
