Job description

As a Finance Assistant in the not-for-profit sector, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations. This temporary remote position involves handling accounting tasks to ensure smooth and accurate financial processes.

Client Details

A not-for-profit organisation operating remotely.

Description

Process invoices and ensure timely payments.
Assist in reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
Support the preparation of financial reports and documentation.
Monitor budgets and flag discrepancies when necessary.
Communicate with stakeholders regarding financial queries and transactions.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Maintain organised records for audits and internal reviews.
Provide general support to the finance team as needed.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

Previous experience in accounting or finance-related tasks.
Strong numerical and organisational skills.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Good communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
The ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Job Offer

Hourly pay ranging from £14.00 to £17.00, dependent on the level of experience.
Temporary remote position with flexible working hours.
