Job description

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role across the day-to-day finance function, gaining hands-on experience and developing your management accounting skills along the way. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will be responsible for:

Collaborating with the Finance Assistant to ensure ledgers are accurate and up to date
Reviewing recurring billing and project costs, making sure everything is accounted for and completed
Supporting the month-end process, including assisting with tasks and reporting
Preparing and posting journals
Managing accruals and ensuring they are correctly recorded
Producing cashflow forecasts to help inform business decisions
Reconciling balance sheet accounts
Analysing financial information for monthly reporting

What you will need:

Experience in a similar finance role, such as Assistant Accountant, Assistant management accountant or Accounts Analyst
Month-end experience, with a track record of supporting or leading the process
A progressive mindset, keen to learn and develop
Currently studying or previously studied towards a finance qualification (QBE considered)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
