Job description

As a Finance Administrator, based in Bedford, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily financial operations. This role plays a key part in supporting the accounting and finance team with tasks like processing transactions and maintaining accurate records.

Description

Process financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
Assist with preparing financial reports and documentation.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Support payroll and invoicing activities as required.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
Maintain organised and up-to-date financial files and records.
Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes.

Profile

A successful Finance Administrator should have:

Experience or knowledge in accounting or finance processes.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Job Offer

Salary £28,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Permanent position in Bedford.
Able to commit to 5 days in office.
