Job description
As an Assistant Accountant in the Not For Profit sector, based in Lincoln, you'll play a key role in overseeing financial processes, helping the organisation make sound financial decisions.
This is a hands-on role where you'll support the day-to-day financial operations and contribute to the smooth running of the finance department.

Description
Prepare management accounts and financial reports for review.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data.
Support the preparation of year-end accounts and audits.
Maintain compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
Studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
Candidates who have worked in similar positions but have not studied are advised to apply!
Able to commute to our client's office in Lincolnshire.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with preparing management accounts and financial reports.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Job Offer
Salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
