Job description

As an Account Assistant in Southampton within the leisure, travel and tourism industry, you'll play a key role in supporting the accounting and finance team with day-to-day tasks. Description

Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
Assist with reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Maintain and update financial data in the accounting system.
Handle queries related to financial transactions and accounts.
Collaborate with the finance team to meet deadlines and objectives.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial tasks.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures.

Profile

A successful Account Assistant should have:

Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
