Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join a well-established, highly regarded law firm in Reading with a strong reputation in residential property and conveyancing services. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal looking to progress within a busy, supportive conveyancing team.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting fee earners with a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters
Preparing and drafting legal documents, contracts, and completion statements
Handling sale and purchase files from instruction through to completion
Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
Conducting searches, Land Registry applications, and post-completion work
Managing files efficiently using case management systems
Providing regular updates to clients and ensuring a high level of service

Requirements

Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant is essential
Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
Confident handling high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisation, communication, and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ambition to progress within a property law career
