Job description

This Company Secretary - 12 month FTC in Farnborough supports the C-Suite within a group company consisting of 4 main entities, 2 of which are FCA regulated. The Company Secretary will handle and lead on all key governance responsibilities.

A group company with FCA regulated entities based in Farnborough.

Description

The Company Secretary - 12 month FTC will sit within the group legal function reporting into the GC. You will:

Prepare and manage board meeting agendas, papers and minutes.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and legal requirements.
Maintain statutory registers and company records.
Support directors with regulatory filings and submissions.
Manage the annual report.
Coordinate with external advisers and regulatory bodies as necessary.
Monitor changes in legislation and update company policies accordingly.
Assist in the development and implementation of governance frameworks.
Finalise the annual accounts & payment of dividends.

Profile

A successful Company Secretary - 12 month FTC should have:

A professional qualification in governance, law or a related field.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance and compliance requirements within FCA regulated environments.
Experience supporting senior leadership or C-Suite teams.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
