Michael Page are actively working with a long standing client who are looking for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join their team in South Leeds on a permanent basis. My client is looking for a proactive, and hands on individual that has experience working on both Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control functions.

My client is looking for a proactive, and hands on individual that has experience working on both Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control functions. This is a perfect opportunity for a candidate looking for a flexible, 30 hours per week Accounts role that can be tailored to your routine. Description

Process invoices and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Managing processes for both purchase and sales ledger
Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with preparing financial reports and statements.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.
Support with credit control tasks
Support the finance team with administrative tasks as needed.
Communicate with other departments regarding financial queries.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Provide support during audits and financial reviews.

Profile

A successful Part Time Accounts Assistant should have:

Experience in an accounts assistant, finance assistant role is essential
Wanting 30 hours a week split over 4 or 5 days.
Familiarity with financial software and systems.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external parties.
A proactive approach to problem-solving

Job Offer

Salary ranging from £30,000-£32,000 FTE
Hybrid working - 1 or 2 days onsite, and the rest at home.
25-30 hours a week split over 4-5 days
Flexible working hours to suit your routine
Permanent position
