Customer Service Administrator

Contract: Temporary to Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Looking for a role with long-term potential?

We're recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy and growing logistics and fulfilment operation. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining customer service with operational administration.

You'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, dispatched on time, and supported with exceptional customer service throughout the order journey.

The Role

As part of a dedicated team, you'll be responsible for managing customer orders from start to finish, maintaining accurate system data, liaising with transport providers, and ensuring customers receive timely updates and support.

Key Responsibilities

Process, amend, update, track, and manage customer orders using the Order Management System.
Maintain the accuracy and integrity of customer and order data.
Provide customers with order updates, tracking information, and status reports.
Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Resolve customer queries and issues efficiently, escalating where necessary.
Ensure customer charges and order details are accurate for invoicing purposes.
Monitor workloads to ensure service level agreements and lead times are consistently achieved.
Report stock, dispatch, delivery, and order issues as soon as they are identified.
Contribute ideas to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer experience.
Support colleagues and lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Follow all health and safety procedures and promptly raise any concerns.

About You

We're looking for an organised and proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience within a warehousing, logistics, fulfilment, or customer service environment.
Experience using Order Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, or similar platforms.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
A positive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving.
