Permanent Quality Co-ordinator - Grimsby 37.5 Hours Per Week Flexible Working Hours

Hays are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Grimsby, conveniently located close to major motorway links, to recruit a Quality Coordinator.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001 or similar standards, document control, compliance or quality administration within a manufacturing or regulated environment.

The Role Working as part of the Quality function, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting the Quality Management System, ensuring documentation and records are accurate, compliant and readily accessible. You will coordinate customer incident investigations, support internal audits, maintain quality records and assist with the production of certification and compliance documentation to ensure customer requirements are met. This is a varied position offering exposure to quality systems, auditing, compliance and continuous improvement activities across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and support the Quality Management System (QMS)

Ensure quality procedures, records and controlled documents are accurate and up to date
Coordinate document reviews, updates and revision control processes
Support internal audit programmes and monitor corrective actions
Coordinate customer incidents and support investigations through to closure
Analyse quality data and identify trends or areas for improvement
Produce and maintain certification and compliance documentation
Support Quality training and induction activities
Maintain quality-related information within business systems
Support customer representatives visiting the site and liaise with internal stakeholders
Assist the wider quality team with compliance and quality improvement activities

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

Experience working in a Quality, Compliance, Document Control or Quality Administration role
Previous exposure to a Quality Management System such as ISO 9001 or similar
Strong administration and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Desirable Experience

Internal auditing experience
ISO 9001 auditing experience
Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or regulated environment
Knowledge of SAP or similar business systems
Experience supporting investigations, corrective actions or continuous improvement activities
