HR Administrator

Location: Ipswich (Hybrid Working Available) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join a growing HR team. This role will play a key part in delivering a seamless employee experience by providing efficient HR administration, supporting HR systems, maintaining data accuracy, and assisting with a variety of people-focused processes across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Provide HR administration across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes and offboarding.
Produce contracts, offer letters and other employment-related documentation.
Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure new starters have the equipment, system access and support they need.
Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems in a timely manner.
Support payroll and benefits administration, ensuring information is accurate and submitted on time.
Respond to employee and manager queries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Produce HR reports and assist with data analysis, audits and compliance checks.
Ensure all HR records and processes remain compliant with company policies, GDPR and employment legislation.
Support HR projects, process improvements and initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience.
Build strong working relationships with employees, managers and key stakeholders across the business.

About You

Previous experience in a HR support, HR coordination or HR operations environment.
Sound knowledge of HR procedures and the employee journey from onboarding through to leaving.
Highly organised with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
Able to manage a busy workload, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Awareness of UK employment law and data protection requirements.
CIPD Level 3 qualification, or currently studying towards a higher CIPD level, would be beneficial.
Experience working with HR platforms and databases; exposure to Workday would be an advantage.
