Job description

Your new company Working for a recycling waste management company, ideally in Exeter or remote for the right person. Hours are Monday - Friday standard working hours. 37.5 hours per week. Pay is £15.37 per hour PAYE.

Your new role We are looking for an experienced HR & Data Administrator to join the team on a temporary basis of 3-6 months. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who can hit the ground running, work confidently with HR systems and data, and provide a high level of customer service to employees and internal stakeholders.The successful candidate will support onboarding activity for new starters, take ownership of ad-hoc HR data requests, and provide support to payroll to ensure employee changes are accurately captured and communicated. Strong Excel and data manipulation skills are therefore essential.- Provide day-to-day HR administration and data support.- Support the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring all required HR administration, system updates and documentation are completed accurately and on time.- Manage and respond to employee HR queries through the HR ticketing system- Accurately maintain and update employee records and HR data.- Work with D365 where required; experience with D365 would be beneficial.- Take the lead on ad-hoc HR data requests, gathering, manipulating, analysing and presenting data as required.- Use Excel extensively to manipulate, reconcile, analyse and validate HR data and produce accurate outputs.- Provide support to payroll processes, ensuring starters, leavers and employee changes are accurately identified, recorded and flagged to payroll within the required timescales.- Produce and maintain reports and data outputs, ensuring a high level of accuracy and data integrity.- Ideally use Power BI to support reporting and data analysis.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in an HR administration and/or HR data-focused role.- Hands-on experience using ADP.- Familiarity with an HR ticketing/case management system- Experience supporting employee onboarding/new starter administration.- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate, analyse, reconcile and present data confidently.- Experience taking ownership of ad-hoc data requests and delivering accurate outputs to tight deadlines.- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling employee and payroll-related data.- Experience supporting or working closely with payroll, with an understanding of the importance of accurately capturing starters, leavers and employee changes.- Excellent customer service and communication skills.- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and manage competing priorities.- Confident working as part of a wider team.- Able to hit the ground running with minimal training.
