Marketing & Events Executive (Interim)

Location: London Pay Rate: £16-£20 per hour Contract: Interim / Temporary (until Christmas initially, with potential to extend) Working Pattern: Hybrid

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Marketing & Events Executive ideally with Construction / Engineering or Architecture industry experience to provide interim support to a busy marketing team during a period of transition.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing Manager, helping to deliver marketing initiatives, support business development activities, and assist with the planning and execution of events.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events, exhibitions, and networking activities.
Create and schedule content across social media platforms.
Produce marketing materials, presentations, and promotional content.
Update marketing collateral and maintain brand consistency.
Support website updates and content management activities.
Assist with internal communications and company announcements.
Monitor marketing activity and maintain accurate records and reports.
Provide general administrative support to the marketing function.
Work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Requirements

Previous marketing experience at Marketing Executive level or similar.
Experience working within architecture, the built environment, property, engineering, construction, or a comparable sector.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience managing social media platforms.
Experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
Positive, proactive approach with a willingness to get stuck in and support where needed.

Desirable Skills

Experience within a professional services environment.
Photography and/or short-form video editing skills.
Experience using website content management systems (CMS).
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
Previous experience supporting events, exhibitions, or corporate hospitality activities.
