You will have responsibility for progressing claims from initial instruction through to settlement or final resolution, providing clear legal guidance, managing disputes effectively and ensuring clients receive a consistently high level of service throughout. The position will also offer valuable exposure to post-whiplash reform claims, particularly those involving disputed liability and quantum.

Manage post-whiplash reform claims, including disputed matters
Assess and value claims up to £20,000
Provide clear and accurate legal advice in accordance with relevant procedures and internal policies
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver a high standard of customer care
Ensure claims are progressed efficiently and within appropriate timescales
Work towards agreed quality, service and performance targets

About You

You will ideally have:

Previous experience handling Fast Track RTA claims
Experience managing personal injury claims through litigation
Strong knowledge of the OIC and MOJ processes
Good understanding of Pre-Action Protocols and the Civil Procedure Rules
Knowledge of tariff and non-tariff injury valuations
Familiarity with the Judicial College Guidelines and assessment of general damages
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
Experience working to targets, service levels and quality measures
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
The ability to manage a demanding caseload and prioritise effectively

Working Arrangements

The position operates on a hybrid working basis, providing a balance of office and home working. This approach is designed to support flexibility while maintaining effective collaboration and communication across the team. Office attendance will be determined by the requirements of the role and wider team.

Benefits

The organisation offers a competitive benefits package, including:

Employer pension contributions
Annual bonus opportunity
Generous annual leave entitlement
