Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for Customer Service Advisors to join a growing team in Crewe, Cheshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, contact centres, retail, hospitality or another service-focused environment who enjoys helping people and finding solutions.

You'll handle customer enquiries, understand their needs and take ownership of issues through to resolution, while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Duties

Handle inbound customer enquiries professionally and with empathy.
Listen to customers, understand their needs and identify appropriate solutions.
Take ownership of customer issues and work towards the best possible outcome.
Provide clear and accurate information using a range of internal systems.
Resolve queries efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards.
Work closely with specialist teams when additional support is required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
Handle customer information responsibly and maintain high standards of data security.
Contribute positively to a team environment focused on collaboration and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, contact centre, retail, hospitality or another service-based role.
Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
Positive, professional and customer-focused approach.
Confident using computers and able to learn new systems quickly.
Ability to remain calm, organised and professional in a busy environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership of customer queries.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.

Working Hours

The role involves working 40 hours per week across a 7-day rota, with variable start and finish times within the following core opening hours:

Monday-Friday: 8am-8pm
Saturday: 9am-6pm
Sunday: 10am-5pm

You will be required to work one weekend day for two out of every three weekends, with the third weekend fully off.
