About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to support the sales team and ensure the sales process runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Sales Coordinator will act as an important link between sales representatives, customers and internal departments, including logistics, finance, warehouse, production and customer service. The role combines sales administration, customer communication, order coordination and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
•Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is correctly entered into company systems.
•Support the sales team with quotations, proposals, presentations and sales reports.
•Respond to customer enquiries and provide timely updates on orders.
•Resolve basic customer issues and ensure queries are followed through appropriately.
•Liaise with warehouse, production and logistics teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time.
•Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, including CRM and Sage systems.
•Track sales activities and ensure relevant documentation is organised and maintained.
•Monitor product availability and coordinate stock requirements where necessary.
•Organise meetings, maintain calendars and provide administrative support for sales activities, events and exhibitions.
•Prepare sales performance reports and assist with analysing sales data for management.
•Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure a high level of customer service.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
•Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
•Strong communication and customer service abilities.
•High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
•Experience using CRM systems; knowledge of Sage would be advantageous.
•Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to resolving issues.
•The ability to multitask, prioritise workload and work effectively to deadlines.
•A collaborative approach with the ability to work well as part of a wider team.
•Previous experience in administration, customer service or sales support would be beneficial.
Qualifications
•GCSEs, A-levels or equivalent.
•A business-related qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
•Knowledge or experience of CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Microsoft Dynamics would be an advantage.

Salary & Requirements
Salary: £26,000-£32,000 per annum, relative to experience.
