Sales Administrator

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Location: Long Crendon, near Thame (HP18)

Hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, plus Saturday mornings during winter months on a rota basis.

About the Role

I am recruiting for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join my clients friendly and established team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous customer service, sales administration, or office-based administration experience to develop their career within a busy and supportive environment.

Reporting to the Business Support Manager, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service whilst supporting the sales process and day-to-day administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities

Handling customer enquiries and sales queries via telephone.
Responding to customer emails and providing timely updates.
Processing sales orders and group orders accurately.
Maintaining and updating customer records on the internal database.
Assisting customers who visit the site.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure a high level of customer service.
Escalating and communicating any issues to management as appropriate.
Supporting the smooth and efficient running of the business.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in customer service, sales administration, or office administration.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.
Good computer literacy and administrative skills.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
