The post holder will need to be confident in managing busy emails systems from clinicians, managers, and internal and external stakeholders. Within this busy and stimulating clinical team the position will require you to have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as enjoying working within a team setting.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to work as a member of a functional, task-based team, and can ensure they can communicate and liaise with administrative colleagues, patients, family members, external professionals and with clinical practitioners. This should also include evidence of high-quality skills where attention to detail, strong IT skills and accurate patient data entry skills is essential and demonstrating the ability to use your initiative and prioritise your own workload.

Having experience of using Carenotes our electronic patient record is desirable. Candidates are requested to use the section "Supporting Information" on the application form to set out their reasons for applying and their suitability, referring to the person specification, for this post.
