Are you looking for a new opportunity to develop your skills? We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our team as a medical receptionist / administrator.

This role is a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, with the specific weekly hours and shift patterns to be confirmed. There may be potential for the role to become permanent, depending on business needs and availability of hours in the future.

Our reception team work between 8 - 6. 30pm.

All applicants will be expected to cover a share of extended hours until 8pm and at least one Saturday per year. Manage reception duties, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments Provide excellent customer service in a busy and dynamic environment Assist with other office duties as needed What we are look for; Enthusiastic and reliable team members Enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing customer service environment Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in an administrative role is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate What We Offer: Variety - no two days are the same!

Key Responsibilities: Front Desk: Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner.

Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently. Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.

Telephone Management: Answer and direct phone calls promptly and efficiently. Address inquiries and provide accurate information.

Schedule and confirm appointments. Administrative Duties: Maintain patient records and update information as required.

Assist with administrative tasks as needed. Customer Service: Address patient concerns and escalate issues as necessary.

Provide compassionate support to patients and their families. Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Handle stressful situations with calm and composure.

Compassion: Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients. Provide supportive and compassionate care.

Key responsibilities of the role are reception duties, greeting patients and managing the waiting area. General administrative duties are required; answering calls and booking appointments, dealing with patient queries, registering patients, sending emails, scanning correspondence, booking hospital transport and liaising with other healthcare professionals.
