Role overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an Antenatal Clinic Administrator to join the Antenatal Care team at Broomfield Hospital. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of a busy antenatal service, providing a professional and efficient administrative service for women, midwives, obstetricians, and the wider maternity team.

The post holder will be responsible for booking and managing appointments, answering telephone enquiries, processing referrals, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the antenatal clinic. They will also assist with ensuring women are appropriately booked into maternity services and that information is managed accurately and in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to manage a varied workload in a busy environment, and be committed to providing a high-quality service that supports positive patient experiences and safe, effective maternity care. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of a high-volume antenatal clinic and supporting timely access to care for women using our maternity services.

You will have responsibility for all administration that is required during antenatal midwifery & obstetric clinics. Provide administrative support to the Maternity Services to include all aspects of antenatal booking and all other administration associated within the antenatal clinic maternity service.

You be expected to have a flexible and 'can do' approach in ensuring the work of the department is carried out in the set timeframe and meet the required high standard. Possess excellent communication skills, and are organised and assertive.
