Role overview
We are very friendly working team, helpful and trustworthy. Joining this team you will be trained and supported throughout the role.
You will be a member of a very experienced team and buddying up with 10 other receptionists. We are a very, very busy practice with two sites within Loughton (IG10).
You will be supported by the team and the operations manager. Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are their initial contact point for general enquiries.
They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses.
They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits. This is a part time role, 20 hours per week, 5 shifts 5 hours a day as follows: Monday 08.
