We're looking for a Team Administrator to join our dedicated team supporting the Slough Child and Family Wellbeing Service, providing accurate and effective administration, hospitality, and support across all functions of the service.
As a Team Administrator, you'll work collaboratively with the Health Visiting and School Nursing teams, offering general, non-clinical advice to service users, parents, and other professionals, and handling all enquiries on behalf of the wider team. You'll be responsible for accurate record keeping and data entry, as well as providing clerical support to the clinical team.
This is a varied role covering everything from appointment booking and correspondence to record maintenance, referral allocation, and front-line telephone triage. You will send out appointment invitations, reminders, and book, re-arrange, or cancel appointments on behalf of the Health Visiting and School Nursing teams.
Action routine correspondence, prepare acknowledgements, and draft response letters, and maintain safe and efficient filing systems, ensuring the security and confidentiality of records and data protection. Contribute to health records, monitor a single point of access inbox, allocate incoming referrals, and manage, action, and record work allocated.

Excellent numeracy and literacy Competent IT skills including Word, Outlook and Excel Good interpersonal and organisational skills Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritise own workload and manage time effectively Ability to work independently on own initiative Excellent telephone manner Experience working with confidential and sensitive information and data Previous general office experience, ideally using a clinical system Understanding of patient needs and the NHS EMIS experience desirable For more details on our requirements please see attached Job Description.
