Role overview

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring they receive a welcoming and efficient service. Youll be responsible for managing incoming queries, booking appointments, handling administrative tasks and supporting the clinical team with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities Provide a courteous and effective reception service to patients and visitors Answer telephone calls efficiently and direct patients to the appropriate services Manage appointment bookings, including use of triage tools and hub referrals Process patient information accurately using clinical systems Respond to E-consults and email queries in a timely and professional manner Maintain effective communication within the practice team and with external healthcare partners Support other administrative duties as needed, including filing, scanning, and managing shared mailboxes What Were Looking For Excellent communication skills verbal and written Strong organisational skills and attention to detail a must. Ability to multitask, work under pressure and prioritise workload Confident using IT systems (previous EMIS experience is an advantage) Friendly, positive and team-oriented attitude Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Flexibility to cover annual leave and absences as required Available for shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm
