Assisting the Group Purchasing Manager with developing the stock management system
Supporting stock management and replenishment planning
Helping with stock counts, stock transfers and investigating discrepancies
Researching products and alternative suppliers
Supporting continuous improvement projects

We're looking for someone who:

Is a recent graduate or early career candidate interested in purchasing, supply chain and stock management
Is organised, accurate and pays close attention to detail
Has good numerical and analytical skills

Can manage multiple tasks and prioritise their workload
Is comfortable using Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications
Has a proactive approach and enjoys improving processes
Is keen to learn about manufacturing and stock control
Ideally has experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar system, although training will be provided
May have a relevant degree or CIPS qualification, although neither is essential

What we offer in return:

A stable, full-time role with room to develop over time
A supportive working environment and experienced team to learn from
Opportunity to contribute to a growing and forward-thinking business
Future training and development opportunities, including support for qualifications
The opportunity to help develop our stock management systems and processes
Scope for the role to develop towards greater stock control responsibility
