Job description

This is a great opportunity for someone with protection experience looking for a role that combines both administration and advice. You'll be supporting a busy team of Mortgage Advisers, handling warm protection leads generated internally and helping clients with their Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection and Business Protection needs.

With all leads provided, this role offers the chance to build strong earnings while working within a supportive and established financial services business.

The Role

You'll be responsible for picking up warm referrals from six Mortgage Advisers and managing clients through the protection journey from start to finish. This will include providing advice where appropriate, processing applications and ensuring cases progress smoothly through to completion.

Responsibilities

Handling warm protection leads generated internally by the Mortgage Adviser team
Advising clients on Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection and Business Protection
Managing protection applications from submission through to completion
Liaising with providers, underwriters and clients to keep cases progressing
Maintaining accurate and compliant records throughout the customer journey
Providing a high level of customer service and support throughout the process

Requirements

Previous experience arranging protection policies is essential
Experience working in a high-volume environment, such as a protection or insurance call centre, would be advantageous
Strong telephone manner and confidence speaking with clients from all backgrounds
Good knowledge of Life, Critical Illness, Income Protection and Business Protection products
Organised with the ability to manage multiple cases at different stages

The Company

You'll be joining an established financial services business where the mortgage and protection teams work closely together. The business has a strong referral network, providing a steady stream of warm opportunities and excellent earning potential.

Benefits

Basic salary of 25,000 - 30,000 depending on experience
5% completion fee on administered cases
Up to 15% commission on advised cases
All leads provided internally
Initially office-based for a minimum of three days per week during onboarding and training
Flexibility for hybrid working once established within the role

Location

Candidates should be within a reasonable distance of Borehamwood.
