Salary: 28-35k Depending on experience

We are recruiting for a confident and highly organised Sales Coordinator to join the sales department of a successful and well-established company based in Bishop's Stortford. Working closely with the National Sales Manager and the wider sales management team, you will take responsibility for monitoring customer orders from the point they are entered onto the system through to completion and delivery. This is not simply an administration position. You will become the customer's representative within the business, ensuring that every department involved in fulfilling an order is communicating, progressing its part of the process and working towards the agreed delivery date. You will need to be confident speaking to people at every level of the business and comfortable chasing for information, asking questions and following up until you receive a clear answer.
The Sales Coordinator Role
Once an order has been received and processed by the Sales Administration team, you will take ownership of monitoring its progress through the business. You will liaise with departments including Sales, Purchasing, Parts, Planning, Production and Warehouse to establish exactly where each order is, whether everything required is available and whether the agreed delivery date will be achieved. Your Sales Coordinator duties will include:
What We're Looking For in a Sales Coordinator
The successful candidate will be naturally organised, confident and persistent. You will enjoy bringing structure to a busy environment and making sure that nothing is overlooked. You must be diplomatic and professional, but also sufficiently strong-willed to challenge, chase and obtain the answers you need. You will not be someone who is easily put off or prepared to leave an issue unresolved. The ideal candidate will have:
Some technical knowledge or previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering, automotive, parts or product-based environment would be helpful, although this is not essential. The right personality, attitude and ability to get things done are equally important. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a business, communicating with different departments and making sure that customers receive what they have been promised. You will play a key role in keeping orders on track, improving internal communication and ensuring that the sales team always has an accurate understanding of each customer's order. Please call if you think you are perfect for this Sales Coordinator role.
