Job description

Advancing People Multilingual is recruiting for a German Speaking Sales Support Advisor on behalf of an established and rapidly growing international distributor, specialising in premium products, based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused individual who enjoys solving problems, building relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

Working as part of a growing Customer Service team, you will support German speaking trade and retail customers, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and customers receive outstanding service throughout their after-sales journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide after-sales support to German & English-speaking customers via telephone, email and messaging.
Manage warranty claims, spare parts requests and aftercare enquiries from initial contact through to resolution.
Liaise with internal technical and logistics teams to resolve product and delivery issues.
Support communication between German speaking customers and internal departments, including translation where required.
Maintain accurate customer records and ensure all cases are followed up promptly.
Identify recurring customer issues and contribute ideas to improve service and processes.

About You

Fluency in German
Previous experience in customer service, after-sales support or a similar customer-facing role.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
A proactive, organised approach with the ability to take ownership of customer enquiries.
A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Experience in a technical support, manufacturing or product-based environment, along with familiarity with CRM or case management systems is desirable but not essential.

This is a full-time permanent position offering a basic salary of 30,000 + 13% Bonus
