Job description

As a Customer Service Advisor in Redditch, you will handle day-to-day customer queries for an Industrial / Manufacturing business and help keep communication clear and timely. You will work within the Customer Service department to give customers helpful updates and ensure enquiries are dealt with efficiently.

Description

Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email, providing clear and accurate information.
Log customer queries and keep records up to date so requests can be tracked easily.
Provide timely updates on open enquiries to maintain clear communication with customers.
Work with internal teams to gather information and resolve customer requests.
Escalate complex or unresolved queries to the appropriate colleague for further action.
Follow up on outstanding customer requests and confirm when actions have been completed.
Maintain a professional and helpful approach during every customer interaction.

Profile

A successful Customer Service Advisor should have:

Experience of handling customer enquiries by phone and email.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to record customer information accurately.
Confidence in following up requests and providing timely updates.
The ability to work with colleagues to resolve customer queries.
A practical approach to identifying when issues need to be escalated.

Job Offer

Temporary Customer Service Advisor contract.
Hourly pay of 14 to 16, dependent on the level of experience.
Based in Redditch.
