Junior Finance Assistant (Temporary Ongoing Contract) Location: Redditch Working Pattern: 4 Days Per Week on site - 1 Day Working From Home Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing Salary: Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a Junior Finance Assistant to join a friendly and growing finance team based in Redditch. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous finance administration experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Assisting with the Accounts Payable function, including statement reconciliations and supplier queries
Supporting Credit Control activities, chasing outstanding payments and maintaining strong customer relationships
Allocating cash receipts and updating customer accounts
Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Assisting with month-end finance processes
Providing general administrative support to the finance team

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience within a finance or accounts environment
Practical experience of both Accounts Payable and Credit Control
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Good communication skills and confidence speaking with customers and suppliers
Competent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
A proactive approach and willingness to learn
The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
