Our client is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team and support the day-to-day accounts payable function. This role will involve processing invoices, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring payments are made accurately and on time.

The key responsibilities of this Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant role will be:

Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
Matching, batching and coding invoices.
Reconciling supplier statements.
Preparing payment runs.
Resolving supplier queries in a timely manner.
Maintaining accurate financial records.
Assisting with month-end processes.
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful Part-Time Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

Previous experience within an Accounts Payable position.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good Excel and finance systems knowledge.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
The ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
Experience working within an accountancy or finance environment.
Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
