Job description

Role: Receptionist (Temporary)

Location: Milton Keynes Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm (40 hours per week) Duration: Immediate start ongoing temporary assignment Pay: £12.71 per hour

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR AN IMMEDIATE START

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and personable Receptionist to join our client's team in Milton Keynes on a temporary basis.

We are looking for someone who is available to start work immediately, has previous reception or front-of-house experience and can confidently provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact.

Duties of a Receptionist:

Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers
Answering and directing incoming telephone calls professionally
Welcoming visitors, managing the visitor log and issuing passes
Monitoring and responding to general inbox enquiries
Managing incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
Booking meeting rooms and ensuring they are prepared
Maintaining a tidy and professional reception area
Providing general administrative support, including filing, scanning and data entry
Assisting with ad hoc duties to support the smooth running of the office

What we're looking for:

Must be available to start work immediately
Previous experience in a Receptionist or front-of-house role
Professional and confident telephone manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office and telephone systems
Friendly, approachable and professional attitude
Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the required working hours
Proactive and flexible approach to supporting the wider team
